George is a seasoned barrister with an extensive commercial litigation practice. He represents clients in complex commercial, maritime, tax litigation, construction, estate litigation, insurance law, and environmental law matters. George brings an exceptional comparative law practice and often counsels on private international law issues in arbitrations and multi-jurisdictional commercial disputes.
George started his legal career as a judge’s clerk of the High Court of South Africa where he was admitted as an Advocate in 1999. On being admitted to the bar in British Columbia, he has appeared in leading cases in various tribunals and arbitrations in Canada and abroad, the Tax Court, the Federal Court, right up to the British Columbia Court of Appeal, and the Federal Court of Appeal. George is conversant in Afrikaans and Greek. George volunteers with Access Pro Bono Society of BC. George is also on the board of directors of the Canadian Maritime Law Association and the Lawyer’s Inn Society.

Amrit Grewal*

Amrit is a litigator at heart, having started his career as a criminal defence lawyer, spending countless hours in the courtroom learning the skills that have made him successful over his career. He now represents clients in complex civil and family matters.
Amrit was born and raised in Vancouver and Abbotsford. He left British Columbia in 2011 to pursue his law degree from the University of Manitoba. He was called to the bar in Manitoba in 2015, and appeared at all levels of court in Manitoba before returning to British Columbia in 2017. Since then, Amrit has appeared at all levels of court in British Columbia, developing a robust complex civil and family litigation practice.
